SMTP Proxy - Usage

Note: When you run this as an applet, your browser acts as a TCP/IP server.
  • Specify a proxy port, typically 25.
  • Specify a port and host name of the actual server. This could be any machine that is running an SMTP server
  • Specify a directory name in "Save Emails to" field if you like to save the message to a directory on your machine
  • Click "Start Proxy"

After you click the "Start Proxy" button, your browser will act as an SMTP server and you will be able to see all TCP/IP communication between the client and server
