Syslog Junction Download

Windows NT/XP/2000/2003

Instructions

• Unzip the installer executable
• Run the installer and follow instructions on the screen
• Syslog Junction will register itself as a Windows Service. You can start and stop from control panel
• To access reports type http://localhost:11052 on your machine. If you are accessing the reports from a different machine, change localhost to appropriate IP

Linux

Instructions

• Gunzip the file into a directory of your choice
• Change the run mode for run.sh to executable using the following command chmod +x run.sh
• Execute run.sh to start Syslog Junction
• Optionally add a script to /etc/init.d/ directory so that the program start when you reboot your machine

Solaris, MacOS X and other UNIX platforms

Instructions

• Gunzip the file into a directory of your choice
• Edit run.sh file and specify the correct path for java
• Change the run mode for run.sh to executable using the following command chmod +x run.sh
• Execute run.sh to start Syslog Junction
• Optionally add a script to /etc/init.d/ directory so that the program start when you reboot your machine
